Today, 60 years later, its <strong><em>labels <\/em><\/strong>are used on all types of consumer products, in particular <strong><em>foodstuffs and beverages, liquor, wines and cava, household products, cosmetics and personal hygiene products<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 1997, Antonio Lapp&iacute; Perea became part of the general management team with a new plan for expansion, which began with a relocation to a new 18.000 square-metre site that currently serves as the registered office of the business. It was here that it consolidated its position as a <strong><em>leader in label production <\/em><\/strong>in Spain, leading to the creation of what we now know as Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas.<\/p>\n<p>Its <strong><em>emphasis on innovation<\/em><\/strong> and a clear policy of investment in improvements to technology and productivity have seen Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas <strong><em>opt for the offset UV semi-rotational technology of Miyakoshi,<\/em><\/strong> acquiring its iconic MLP, which is designed specifically to cater for particular market niches (shorter runs, strict quality requirements, etc.) that combine advanced offset technology, productivity, performance, etc. in a solid and robust construction.<\/p>\n<p>With this acquisition, Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas has improved its <strong><em>production capacity, competitiveness and efficiency<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The growth of this business has been given a boost by the <strong><em>acquisition of leading companies in the sector<\/em><\/strong> that have come under the Lapp&iacute; umbrella. This expansion began in 2004 with the acquisition of <em>Gr&agrave;fiques Martorell<\/em> and continued in 2013 with the acquisition of <em>Gr&agrave;fiques Llopart<\/em>. More recently, Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas acquired <em>Gr&aacute;ficas Calipolense S.A<\/em>., the largest printer of labels for the food sector in Portugal. With this acquisition, Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas consolidated its position as the <strong><em>largest group in the sector in southern Europe <\/em><\/strong>(<em>Italy, France and the Iberian peninsula<\/em>) with annual turnover of more than 30 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>With this acquisition, Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas will have <strong><em>four plants on the Iberian peninsula <\/em><\/strong>(two in Portugal and two in Spain: in Seville in Barcelona) and its current workforce has grown to more than 250 employees.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, with the acquisition of Gr&aacute;ficas Calipolense it has <strong><em>consolidated its strategy of internationalisation: <\/em><\/strong>apart from Europe and the Americas, they have reinforced their presence in Africa, in particular in countries such Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Benin and Santo Tom&eacute; and Pr&iacute;ncipe.<\/p>\n<p>Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas is the <strong><em>only manufacturer in southern Europe with a presence in all segments of the business<\/em><\/strong>. Its portfolio contains the widest range of labelling solutions, with 23 production lines that produce wet-glue (WGL), adhesive (PSL), sleeve and wrap-around sleeve labels (BOPP, PET, PLA, etc.) that bring together the main printing technologies such as offset, FULL HD flexography (UV), serigraphy and digital printing.<\/p>\n<p>Durante a&ntilde;os, la empresa de Antonio Lapp&iacute; Gonz&aacute;lez (su fundador) se fue posicionando como una referencia en el campo de la impresi&oacute;n de etiquetas. A d&iacute;a de hoy, 60 a&ntilde;os despu&eacute;s, sus <strong><em>etiquetas <\/em><\/strong>engloban todo tipo de productos de consumo, fundamentalmente <strong><em>alimentaci&oacute;n y bebidas, licores, vinos y cavas, productos del hogar, cosm&eacute;tica e higiene personal<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En 1997, Antonio Lapp&iacute; Perea llega a la Direcci&oacute;n General con un nuevo plan de expansi&oacute;n, el cual comenz&oacute; con el traslado a unas instalaciones, de 18.000 metros cuadrados, donde se encuentra actualmente la sede central de la empresa. Es aqu&iacute; donde se consolida como <strong><em>l&iacute;der en la fabricaci&oacute;n de etiquetas<\/em><\/strong> en Espa&ntilde;a, dando paso a lo que hoy conocemos como Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Su <strong><em>apuesta por la innovaci&oacute;n<\/em><\/strong>, y una decidida pol&iacute;tica de inversiones en mejoras tecnol&oacute;gicas y productivas, han llevado a Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas a <strong><em>apostar por la tecnolog&iacute;a semi-rotativa offset UV de Miyakoshi<\/em><\/strong> adquiriendo su ic&oacute;nica MLP, dise&ntilde;ada espec&iacute;ficamente para atender las particularidades (tiradas m&aacute;s cortas, altas exigencias de calidad&#8230;) de mercado aunando alta tecnolog&iacute;a offset, productividad, rendimiento&hellip; en una s&oacute;lida y robusta construcci&oacute;n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Con dicha adquisici&oacute;n, Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas gana en <strong><em>capacidad de producci&oacute;n, competitividad y eficiencia<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pictures\/Lappi1.jpg\" alt=\"Grupo Lappi\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El crecimiento de esta empresa se han visto reforzados por <strong><em>la adquisici&oacute;n de empresas referentes del sector<\/em><\/strong> que han pasado a estar bajo el paraguas de Grupo Lapp&iacute;. Con esta operaci&oacute;n, Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas se consolida como el <strong><em>mayor grupo del sector en el sur de Europa<\/em><\/strong> (<em>Italia, Francia y Pen&iacute;nsula ib&eacute;rica<\/em>), alcanzando una facturaci&oacute;n anual de algo mas de 30 millones de euros.<\/p>\n<p>Con esta adquisici&oacute;n, Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas contar&aacute; con <strong><em>4 f&aacute;bricas en la Pen&iacute;nsula Ib&eacute;rica<\/em><\/strong> (dos enPortugal y dos en Espa&ntilde;a &mdash;Sevilla y Barcelona&mdash;) y su plantilla actual se ha incrementado, hasta alcanzar algo m&aacute;s de 250 empleados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Adem&aacute;s, con la compra de Gr&aacute;ficas Calipolense, <strong><em>consolidan su estrategia de internacionalizaci&oacute;n<\/em><\/strong> ya que, m&aacute;s all&aacute; de Europa y Am&eacute;rica, refuerzan su presencia en &Aacute;frica, principalmente en pa&iacute;ses como Angola, Cabo Verde, Mozambique, Benim o Santo Tom&eacute; y Pr&iacute;ncipe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Grupo Lapp&iacute; Etiquetas es el <strong><em>&uacute;nico fabricante del sur de Europa presente en todos los segmentos del negocio<\/em><\/strong>. Posee en su portfolio el mayor abanico de soluciones para el etiquetado.
